TOUR NATURALISTS REQUIRED

Description: We are a small innovative company that has been successfully operating a wide range of natural history tours for 23 years.  We are looking for new nature tour leaders for late 2012 season and beyond, in particular to assist with birding, general nature and student study tours.

Are you interested in contract seasonal guiding work ? 
Do you have ?

•    A current natural science qualification
•    Experience and enthusiasm in dealing with people
•   An exceptional enthusiasm for, and in-depth knowledge of NZ’s natural environment
•   Current First Aid certification and current driver’s license with a passenger service endorsement

Leaders must be prepared to travel throughout NZ for extended periods of time.  On occasions the successful applicants will be leading on their own, and on others, in conjunction with established leaders. Applicants must be self-motivated, organised in their approach to their duties, and have an ability to work unsupervised.

On site and on tour training shall be provided to the successful applicants.
