Outward Bound New Zealand seeks passionate people for an Instructor selection course in February 2019.
You should have a strong interest in using the outdoor environment for the personal development of yourself and others, and the drive to work in a high performing team, for a world class organisation.
– Qualifications in Outdoor Education are desirable but not essential
– You should have solid experience in two out of these key areas; Tramping, White Water Kayaking, and Sailing
– You should ideally have experience as an Educator or Facilitator
– Rock Climbing, High Ropes and other outdoor activity experience is helpful
– Applicants should have NZ residency or be able to get an NZ Work Permit

Adventure and Challenge - Our courses are based on real adventure. You will have experiences that are physically, mentally and emotionally challenging. We will push your limits and help you conquer your fears!
Physical Activities in the Outdoors - All activities involve situations where there are real consequences. Our highly skilled instructors deliver our courses, which will include activities such as: Sailing, Kayaking, High ropes, Rock climbing, Solo experience, Tramping, Physical training. You don’t need previous outdoors experience to participate.
Safe and Supportive Environment - Clearly maintained boundaries which ensure physical and emotional safety. Supportive relationships and culture.
