Outdoor Instructor

Kokiri; Riccarton High School’s West Coast Lodge

Looking for an Outdoor Instructor to be part of Riccarton High School’s camp programme for term 2.
Activities include; high/low ropes, day tramping, basic bush skills, mud fights, adventure based learning activities and heaps of fun!

Beginning Monday 23 April for 1 week of Staff Training, then 9 weeks of work with year 9 students. There is an optional end of season clean up week finishing Friday 6 July. The job is located 20km east of Greymouth.
Work each week is usually from 9am Monday till 3pm Friday. Throughout the week you will be working on a changing schedule, starting no earlier than 7.30am and finish no later than 8.30pm.
Food and accommodation will be provided at the Lodge while working, including one training week prior to the start of the term.

We are a close-knit team of 4, so as well as enjoying instructing students, it is very important that you are easy going and comfortable working and living in a small team.

All applicants must have a current first aid certificate, and experience instructing ABL and High Ropes.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
