Outward Bound New Zealand seeks applications for a staff selection in February 2020.
Starting dates for successful applicants are in May and September 2020 and contracts are for 3 years with options to extend. This is a secure job in a stunning location with great people, we provide accommodation for individual instructors as well as those with families or partners.
You need to be passionate about working with people, will have great skills for working in the outdoors, and ideally be experienced as an educator or facilitator.
You will have a strong interest in the personal development of yourself and others, and want to work in a high performing team for a world class organisation.
Training and qualifications in outdoor education are desirable but not essential, and you should have solid experience in two out of these key areas; Tramping and off track navigation, White Water Kayaking and Sailing.
Rock climbing, High ropes and other outdoor activity experience is helpful.
Applicants should have NZ residency or be able to get an NZ Work Permit.

Our highly skilled instructors deliver our courses, which will include activities such as: Sailing, Kayaking, High ropes, Rock climbing, Solo experience, Tramping, Physical training. You don’t need previous outdoors experience to participate.
