I am interested in a career as a  Educator/Instructor/Wilderness Trip Leader-. I am an adventurer, educator and instructor in India.  I have extensive experience working with children and adults in both an academic and recreational environment, so I would be eager to contribute my skills to your organization.

I was involved with summer camps and school programs where I was educating urban youth in Rock climbing, Outdoor survival and Backpacking expeditions. Working with children through this program was certainly an enriching experience, and I would love to continue this type of work with your organization.

During last summer, I planned daily outings and scheduled activities, educating the kids throughout the day. I did similar work as a leader/instructor in other organizations, where I played with children, implemented indoor activities, instructed and lead field trips and adventure trips. Consequently, I developed a strong sense of patience and a keen awareness for interacting with children.

I have worked extensively with Adults, in backpacking trips through various organizations. Not just backpacking but also other adventure trips, outbound training and such. Have been working with Discovery village (Prayag Discovery Village, website-Discoveryvillage.in ) for over 8 years as a freelancer-Outdoor instructor/Facilitator conducting and processing OBT programmes. Similarly have worked with various organisations as listed in the resume.

I have participated and attended The Outdoor leadership training course and the outdoor leadership programme conducted by The Outdoor School, which was an intensive two programs for outdoor leaders and instructors in the himalayas and the western ghats. The programme included leadership, technical skills and group facilitation skills.

In the last year sept. 2013, i did participate and finish a NOLS Diploma- Trip Leader India, it was an all extensive backpacking course/program in the Himalayas. Also have WMI-WFR and CPR valid till April 2016. In the year 2014, i did participate and finish Basic Mountaineering Course from Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI-Darjeeling, India).

Looking for opportunities to be involved in! I absolutely love working with people in the outdoors, and also have a passion for rock climbing, hiking and mountaineering. so it’s certainly a job I would be very excited to have.
