Description

Hello! I am an adventure-loving American with an approved NZ Working Holiday Scheme visa and years of outdoor experience. An avid international cave explorer, I love calling the South Island home.

In addition to my dedication to speleology, I have a passion for helping people of all ages achieve an appreciation for the magnificent environments around them. Last year, I led and worked on trail-building crews in the United States and Patagonia Argentina, during which I taught leadership-building and the conservation of critical habitats. I also have five years of lifeguarding experience, which helped me further my communication skills and rescue techniques. I am certified in wilderness emergency medicine and remain calm and focused in challenging situations.

I am fluent in both English and Spanish, should the opportunity arise that you need a Spanish-speaking guide. I have the flexibility to adapt to varied structures, situations, and cultures and enjoy interacting with children, adults, and families. I’m a self-starter with an excellent work ethic and a good sense of humor.

Please see my resume above for a more detailed description of my skills and work experience. I can’t wait to meet you!
