Main activities and responsibilities: I deal with the calculation model and software
system, BRANZFIRE. The goal is to study properly the evolutionary dynamics of a
possible fire hazards which can be predicted employing this software, a computer fire
model which integrates a flamespread and fire growth model for room lining
materials with a multi-room zone model. Its purpose is to model fire hazard
associated with combustible room lining materials and building contents; to quantify
their contribution to the rate of fire development within and between the rooms.
BRANZFIRE predicts ignition, flame spread and the resultant heat released by the wall
and ceiling lining material. Two modes of flame spread are considered. Upward flame
spread includes the spread beneath the ceiling and along the wall/ceiling intersection
in the region of the ceiling jet.

Main activities and responsibilities: My duties regards monitoring the design of
new water infrastructures and testing the quality control of water plant (pumping
stations, wastewater and pressure increases stations) including: surface, ground,
drinking, waste and fresh flowing water.
I also have a very good knowledge of hydraulics and fluid mechanics.
Additionally, it also included developing appropriate and reliable documentation for
sewage and drinking water, called HACCP, (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control
Points) and HARPC (Hazard Analysis and Risk-based Preventive Controls) are the
systematic preventive approach to water safety from biological, chemical, and
physical hazards in production processes that can cause the finished product to be
unsafe. Therefore looking at the design measurements to reduce these risks to a safe
level.
Therefore in risk analysis the various hazaedous events related to the water utility are
identified and the corresponding risks are estimated.
This position included having knowledge of suitable tools such as database system

Main activities and responsibilities: Raw material testing and quality control.
Härjeåns tests raw materials, waste water treatment, pellets, ingredients and
components used in a wide range of products. Testing raw materials can include
evaluation and screening of feedstocks, unprocessed materials, semi-processed
materials and finished products for quality specifications, impurities and more
including higher-end analytical testing and characterization if required as aluminium
test, COD ecc…

AirClean srl is a specialized company in environmental rehabilitation of air, water and
waste treatment. With its thirty-years experience, Air Clean operates worldwide in the
area of complete air treatment plants installations.
Main activities and responsibilities: the purpose of increasing knowledge about the
biological filtration through filters biotrickling used by AirClean, then go to perform
the analysis of the main patterns of the process of treatment plants air, present in the
company, with particular verification flow diagrams relating to the biological systems
of treatment and emissions in reference to current regulations.
Internship during studies: increasing knowledge about the biological filtration with
bio trickling filters, activated carbon, bioscrubber, then going to carry out the analysis
of the main patterns of the process air handling systems.
